Mission SOS is faith adventures among unreached people groups. It is miracle working power - simply the book of Acts lived in the 21st century. We are arranging Signs&Wonders Festivals among the Muslims, Hindus and animist tribes. Establishing mission bases, training disciples, planting churches and sending out missionaries. What is Mission SOS?

Mission SOS is a campaign ministry, with focus on the unreached people groups in the world. When Jesus talked about the end of time he said,

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14

The word "nations" is translated from the greek word "ethnos", which means ethnical groups. We can speed up the coming of Jesus, by making sure that every people group, tribe, nation and language get to hear the message about freedom, salvation and healing through Jesus Christ! (2 Peter 3:12)

To the unreached peoples of the world

There are currently about 16,008 different ethnical groups in the world. 6,767 of these are still considered to be unreached, this makes out more than 2.5 billion people that have yet not been reached by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Most of them live in the area called the 10/40-window, but also in the rest of Africa, Russia, in Latin America, Indonesia, and even Europe (figures taken from Joshua Project).

How we work

Together with local churches in every part of the world, we preach the good news about Jesus Christ to the unreached people groups, through campaigns and Signs & Wonders Festivals.

We arrange pastors seminars to equip local workers for effective follow up and church planting in the most unreached areas of the world.

With the aim clearly set on making disciples, we distribute Bibles and Christian literature in the local languages. Mission SOS has its base in a network of churches in Sweden and USA, and we cooperate with everyone who belongs to the international Pentecostal movement and the Charismatic family, no matter what denomination.

Johannes and Maria Amritzer founded the organization 1996. Since then it has grown and has today 150 workers all over the world. The vision, the prayer, the breakthrough mentality and passion for Jesus is still the same, but the everything has larger dimensions.

340 churches has been planted as a result of more than 50 international Jesus festivals. Tens of thousands have been saved, baptized in the Holy Spirit and in water. Jesus performs wonderful miracles, the blind see, the deaf hear and the lame walk, run and jump!

Mission offices are located in Norway, Austria and the USA and since 2003 we run, together with Harvest Center Church in Stockholm, missionary training at SOS Mission Bible College in Stockholm, Sweden. We have four mission bases who work strategically with mission among the unreached peoples. The organization just continues to grow.
