People!

When you think about this summer, forget all about barbeques, soccer in the afternoon sun, swimming in too cold lakes, lazy mornings in the sun, the scent of grass and the sound of birds, long breakfasts with too much to choose from, Frisbees, laughter, grass stains, the spontaneous climbing in trees, a good book above your face when you've fallen asleep in the heat of the summer… No, don't even think about doing any of that - alone!

Let us do it all together!


On July 23-25, which is the last weekend of the July, SOS Church Camp will take place! The entire church will get together to enjoy each other's company, enjoy the summer, enjoy listening to teaching from our pastors - and enjoy the wonderful presence of God!

Location: "Baset" in Järfälla, Stockholm.

Road Description: Mälarvägen towards Görvälnsbadet. After the slip road for "Brukets Skidbacke" and "Görvälns slott" on your right, keep your eyes open for a sign on your left that says "BASET". Follow the small road for some hundred meters, and you're there.
Here you'll find a map from Eniro.

Price: 250 SEK for breakfast, dinner and somewhere to place your tent. There is a café where you will be able to buy lunch and coffee during the days if you wish.

Tickets for the weekend will be sold in SOS Church after every Sunday service, starting at 4 PM at Warfvinges väg 26, Stockholm.

Youth weekend!

Monday March 15th 2010

Ladies and gentlemen! SOS Youth has seen daylight!! We started with an awesome kick off last weekend in Järfälla in Stockholm! 17 teens with their leaders took over "Baset" , a church retreat house, with an introductory evening, great tasting food and finally a movie about street dance.

The whole weekend was a long competition between the teenagers, where the winning team won the desirable prize of not having to do any clean up on Sunday plus t-shirts and other cool stuff. So the teens rolled around in snow, ate butter and fought to win over their leaders in wii sports, arm-wrestling and other fun stuff.

Saturday was a day of adventure with four-part-competition, driving scooters and of course, sausages with bread and a bonfire! A group of tired teens returned to the house in the afternoon and changed into more representable clothes for the evening(that was a feat, considering the fact that there was only one shower).

The evening ended with a Latino fiesta!! Tacos, chili on each table, Latino music in the background, a crash course in important (?) Spanish words, a quiz about Latin America and funny bunny.. It was a total success! Our own Latino Fernan Santos was the MC for the evening and youth pastor Jonatan Kvist preached a simple and clear message about daring to follow Jesus. Three teenagers decided to give their lives to Jesus that night! Wow!

The weekend was finished with Sunday celebration at SOS Church.

The Youth ministry has now begun and will continue every Friday night at 7 pm in SOS Church in Stadshagen with great youth meetings and youth café. All teenagers are welcome to join!! C u Fridays!!

Youth Kick Off!

Friday January 29th 2010

It is finally time for a CRAZY weekend for you who call yourself youth! Friday, May 5th at 1 o'clock PM, we will meet in SOS Church's facilities at Kungsholmen, Stockholm. From there, we will leave for the base of our weekend, and then we'll return to SOS Church on Sunday March 7th at 4 o'clock PM!

This is a "kick off"-weekend for the youth ministry of SOS Church, and also an awesome finale of the spring's break! Do NOT miss it!
The weekend is open for all who are 13 years and older. So talk to your friends and then you all apply here:

For whom? Youths (please note that you don't need to be a member of the church to come along!)
When? 5th - 7th of March
How much is it? The fee for the whole camp is 250 SEK/person
