Street Evangelists

Ethiopia, Tuesday July 20th 2010

After a day of training and countless hours of planning and praying, 9 of our graduated bible school students and disciples set out for their first day of strategic evangelism in their own city of Harar!

Our goal for these Ethiopian evangelists is to strategically invade the regions of Harar with the Kingdom of God, blanketing each street and home with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God… through preaching, salvation prayers, healing, practical help and casting out devils! We also desire to see contacts built for the sake of our own disciples as well as to promote and invite people to our Harar Church of Joy.

After a short morning gathering, the evangelists journey out in teams each Saturday from 9:30-12:30, followed by lunch and intercessory prayer in our church.

Their first day on the streets proved to be a success with the pure kiss of God upon their steps… 5 precious souls received Jesus and countless others heard the power of the Gospel for the first time! Thanks God for helping us reach the unreached in Harar!

Outreach with salvations and healings!

Bulgaria, Friday July 9th 2010

This Sunday Signs & Wonders Church Velingrad had an outreach at the stadium in Slokutchene, a village close to Velingrad. The interest was big and many had come to see dance and drama about Jesus. "I belive there was about 400-500 people around the stage" said Janco Angelov, who also preached a message about God's son that came to earth because of your and my sins. "It was amazing! Around fifty people prayed a prayer of salvation with us and gave their life to Jesus!" Monika Angelova said after the outreach.

A lot of healings also happened immediatly after the healingprayer. A 15-year old boy who suffered from severe shortsightedness could now see and followed Janco's moves on a 10 metre distance. One woman testified that she could no longer feel the cyst in her breast after the healing prayer. "The woman kept on saying: I can't feel it anymore, I can't feel it! Jesus is amazing!" Monika said with a big smile.

A summer of baptisms!

Bulgaria, Saturday July 3rd 2010

"The baptism is truly the start of a new life". The words are Janco's, he had just finished the mass baptism in one of the rivers outside Velingrad. The past two weeks, nine persons have taken the decision to start all over again.

One of the girls testified of an immidiate difference: "Before, I was filled with hatred towards my mother, but when I got baptised I felt heat and some kind of peace filled me. Now the feelings of hate is gone!".

All the happy newly baptised recieved new Bibles and are now coming to church.

Jesus was preached among Muslims

Bulgaria, Monday June 28th 2010

This past month we have seen God working mighty wonders through our hands and our church. Grashevo is one of the Pomak villages surrounding Velingrad, 100% Muslim and totally unreached. Some time ago, we went there with three mini vans packed with clothes for distribution. Nearly the whole village gathered at the town square as Janko preached the gospel, straight from the bible.

Afterwards, many came up to him, hugged him and said: "This is the true believers, who come and help the people. You really believe in the gospel." Many people recieved clothes and were very thankful for the help.

Reinhard Bonnke will speak at SOS Church's One Year Anniversary

Tuesday June 15th 2010

Date: Sunday August 29, 2010, at 4 PM
Place: Stockholm City Conference Center

At the end of August, SOS Church will celebrate its One Year Anniversary! We want to celebrate it with you and with Reinhard Bonnke - and with as many Stockholmers as possible!

On August 29, 2009, we gathered at Nalen in Stockholm to officially proclaim the church. The year that has passed since then has included several "All Nations Café", a Christmas Show, the release of our Festival CD "God of Miracles", and two festivals; one in Nepal and one in Tanzania.

Now that SOS Church is getting close to its One Year Anniversary, we are preparing a great celebration in Stockholm, with Reinhard Bonnke as speaker and guest of honor!

Quoting Johannes Amritzer: "Reinhard Bonnke is the festival dad for the whole world, a living legend, especially in Africa where he has ministered for over forty years. Reinhard has preached for bigger crowds and won more for the Kingdom of God than any other particular evangelist throughout church history. His festivals, especially on the the African continent draw millions of people in a single service and litterally explodes with miracles, signs and great deeds when the Word is confirmed at the end of every mass meeting!"

Stockholm CCC is located in central Stockholm, between Norra Bantorget and Drottninggatan. You'll find a map here.

Book the date, bring everybody You know and don't know, and come with great expectations!

Welcome!

Dreamed and got saved

Bulgaria, Tuesday June 8th 2010

Asen has been sick for six years, he has a catheter and is in a wheel chair. His wife always spoke with him about Jesus, but he didn't want to listen. But one night he had a dream and heard a voice, saying: "Go to Janco, go to Janco's church". He woke up and told his wife about the dream. She went to the Signs & Wonders Church the following Sunday and told everyone about what happened. Janco went to meet the man and then he got saved!

Now Asen believes in Jesus, he comes to church every week and God has healed him, so that he no longer needs his catheter and is without pain. Hallelujah!

Jesus is Visiting Same!

Saturday May 22nd 2010

Since Sunday there has been a team of about 70 people from Sweden, the US, Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Latin America in the town of Same, Tanzania. Their days have been filled with prayer, outreaches in remote villages and the streets of Same, reaching the beautiful Kilimanjaro region with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Miracles have taken place every day. People have been saved at every outreach and many healings have taken place, several have been delivered from evil spirits right there on the street as the team has proclaimed the name of Jesus!

Wednesday was the first day of the festival and the people of Same were amazed as the entire team, accompanied by a local brass band and Christians from the area marched through the town in a colorful and very creative carnival, drawing people to the festival ground. So far, about 700 people have given their lives to Jesus, deaf ears have been opened and at the festival last night these three boys started to speak and make sounds after being mute their entire life! Jesus is visiting this area of Tanzania and we are eager to see what miracles He will perform today and the last days of the festival!
