Jitawoes, Martha, Fitsom, Lydiya and Martha
Everything started off with two boys, Fitsom and Jitaowes, coming to one of our meetings two months ago. They were so impacted by the message that they decided to bring their neighbor Lydiya to our team house four days later. They thought she should also hear the message of Jesus just like they did. Lydiya was saved that day, and just a couple of days later they were all baptized. And after that it has just continued.
Lydiya's mother Salam was saved about a year ago, but has been working so much that she has lost what she had. She was so happy about her daughter being saved that she started taking care of her own relationship with God.
She did not just take care of her own relationship with God, but she also started to witness to her neighbor and sister in-law Martha. And Martha quickly decided to also become a follower of Christ.
The most amazing thing about this story is that she is not just Salam's neighbor and sister in-law, but also the mother of Fitsom, one of the boys who first came to our meeting two months ago. Two days ago Salam and Martha was baptized in the bathtub in our team house.
It was a big family party and great joy!
