Full Name: Johannes Klaus Amritzer
Age: Will be 35 in August
Family: Married to Maria for 14 years, and two children, Alicia 9 and Adam 7
Annual Travel Days: about 250

Maria, Alicia, Johannes and Adam
Childhood: Born in Austria but moved to Sweden at the age of four. Moved a lot through life - has had 21 addresses...
Lives: Since December 2000 in Märsta, just north of Stockholm, Sweden. Strategically only 10 minutes away from the international airport
Job: Festival evangelist, founder of Mission SOS, church planter, Mission Director and Associate Pastor at Harvest Center Church, teacher at SOS Mission Bible College, Chairman in the leader team for the Scandinavian Network for Apostolic Christianity, author of several books and booklets, and loved speaker at conferences in Europe, the US, Africa and Asia
Good qualities for the job: Extremely flexible, to always be able to adjust in different environments and cultures is not an easy task. Johannes is constantly addressing people from different cultures, backgrounds, levels of society, and from all ends of the earth. People are different and to be able to reach in, one needs to be constantly led by the Spirit. You also need to have a high work capacity and tempo. Something that characterizes Johannes is that he always, in the midst of large projects, takes time for the individual. Being in need of small amounts of sleep helps cope with a pressured work schedule and constant jet leg from all the travel.
Favorite Movie: Johannes loves movies. Adventure movies (of course!) like National treasure and everything from Mel Gibson (The Patriot, Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ, etc) scores high points. Another favorite is the God Father trilogy.

Always in the luggage!
Always travels along: A spare pair of eye-glasses, a power adapter and an Austrian deck of cards: Doppeldeutsche Schnapskarten.
Your Best SOS Memory: There are so many. The Bible study with the royal family of Lesotho, the Pygme elder Malibane's baptism in a Ugandan rain forest and the Tapiete Indians baptism in the Holy Spirit around a camp fire in Gran Chaco in southern Bolivia, are all warm memories. Other great memories are Elephantitice feet that shrunk to normal in Karachi, Pakistan, mass baptism among the Nude people in northern Ghana, train rides through India, shopping with my wife in Manilla, New Dehli, Addis Abeba, I could go on forever...
Things you did not know about Johannes: Has worked as a welder, warden at a psychic clinic, High School teacher, taught Swedish to immigrants (SFI) and taught business German. He loves to read German novels, camp life, hunting, and fishing. Is crazy about dancing and singing, even though he says he is no pro in either. Johannes goes to the gym at least once a week. Shot a white tail deer in West Virginia with a bow and arrow, while 30 feet up in a tree. In northern Sweden he shot a 17 pointed Moose. Was first out to take a swim this spring on April 18th, in 37 degree (F) water.
