Port-au-Prince Signs & Wonders Festival

In the month of October Mission SOS will be setting up a Signs & Wonders Festival in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. You have all heard of the great disaster that struck the nation earlier this year - the January 12 earthquake that devastated the southern parts of the island around the capital.
God had begun to speak to us about Haiti last fall, long before the earthquake and now we feel even more strongly that: Now is God's time for Haiti.

We want to bring in both compassion and the gospel to the people of Haiti. There was a lot of media focus the first months after the earthquake but now there is mainly silence as media has focused other areas of need in the world. Some experts early on said that it will take years if not decades to rebuild the nation.

To cut to the point: there is still a dire need of help and assistance in Haiti and we want to bring in compassion - both medical, dental and aid in some form.

We are putting together a team from several nations that will have street preachers, dancers, and actors as well as medical doctors and dentists.

This will be a historic festival in many ways - of course due to all the devastation that has taken place and the hurt caused by it. But also since this will be the first time we deploy our brand new festival equipment.
We believe that this will take Mission SOS to the next level in our festivals.

Come and help us bring hope to a people that have lost all hope and see no future. God wants to bring healing and restoration to the people of Haiti and he is seeking them out.
