Signs & Wonders Festival
Tanzania 2012

Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania

June 13-17, 2012

We are invited by the Assembly of God Tanzania to come and hold a Signs & Wonders Festival in Dar-es-Salaam in June 2012.

We are currently looking at a field located in central Dar-es-Salaam. Jangwani field has a capacity to hold a crowd of over 150,000 people. Due to the great location along one of the major bus routes into the city, it will be easy for people to come from all around.

The Tanzania AoG has a vision to plant 10,000 churches in 10 years. In the first three years they have planted 1,000. To make this happen they are building church planting schools in every district (21 total) at a cost per school of $45,000. There are 5 districts in the north and only two of them have this school. These 5 northern districts all have many unreached peoples

Alongside the festival in June there will be a large leadership seminar for pastors and leaders and they are expecting thousands of delegates from all over Tanzania. We will have an opportunity to impact the whole region.

SOS Festival Band


SOS Festival Band will be performing on stage in June 2012. In June we will will have a large team ministering on the streets. Come join our outreach team!



For this event we will need to raise $200,000. We are looking for

- 2 churches that raise $40,000
- 3 churches that raise $20,000
- 6 churches that raise $10,000

As a church you can also consider owning a part of the event and raising the funds for your part. You can choose from

- November conference
- Renting the national stadium for June
- Follow up material
- Tech costs
- Promo campaign
- Church planting school
- Seminar


After completed festival, before we fly home, there will be time to go on a safari to one of the national parks and see wild animals. Perhaps we will go to Ngorongoro Crater and see some lions.

There is also an option to spend time on South Beach, just outside Dar-es-Salaam...

Come along on a faith adventure that will take you to a large metropolitan city of close to 6 million people. The city has a large Muslim population and there are many churches that we will partner with in reaching out to the entire city.
